Diligently Seeking Him, P.N.

Hebrews 11:6 says “But without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to Him for he who comes forward to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” The Full-Time Training in Anaheim is a two-year Bible truth and church service training that equips seeking believers with the truth and affords them with many opportunities to experience Christ. As a personal testimony, having been in the Full-Time Training for approximately a year and a half, I have experienced and continue to experience Christ very much.

In particular, I have been realizing that the Lord really enjoys spending time with me. Since I will be graduating from the Training in July of this year, I have been inquiring of the Lord as to what my next step will be. However, I realize that in times of prayer or consideration before the Lord regarding my future, He seems to care very little about the plans I have or even the plans I think He has for me. My experience has been that the Lord simply wants me to spend time with Him. It is not that the Lord does not care about my future but He cares much more that I love Him and seek Him for the sake of seeking Him. The Lord is more interested in my heart loving Him and being inclined toward Him than He is in my questions and considerations about the future.

Hebrews 11:6 speaks of God being a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. On the earth today there are many who do not seek God at all; there are also many who seek God so that they can know what to do or where to go. Yet today there are very few people who seek God just because they want to find Him. I am desirous to be such a person. Such persons are rewarded by God. What is their reward? Their reward is simply to find God, the One they diligently seek. So, as I look to the Lord and seek to find Him I am learning how to seek only Him. May He be my supreme reward.
